About the role
- Design and analyze new engine technologies and components
- Perform 1D engine simulations using AMESim or GT-Power
- Post-process measurement results with MATLAB, Concerto, and other tools
- Carry out mechanical design and create CAD models of components for prototyping
- Design and size components for engines and pumps
- Define the system bill of materials and manage suppliers
- Present simulation and measurement results
- Develop tools and models for data post-processing
- Test the engine and complete powertrain
- Document the developed component modeling library
- Ensure continuous optimization and validation of models using measurement data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in combustion engines or a related area
- Strong expertise in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim & SimulationX, and proficiency in Creo and Concerto
- Analytical, thorough, and proactive
- Fluent in French and English; good knowledge of German is an asset
