About the role

  • Design and analyze new engine technologies and components
  • Perform 1D engine simulations using AMESim or GT-Power
  • Post-process measurement results with MATLAB, Concerto, and other tools
  • Carry out mechanical design and create CAD models of components for prototyping
  • Design and size components for engines and pumps
  • Define the system bill of materials and manage suppliers
  • Present simulation and measurement results
  • Develop tools and models for data post-processing
  • Test the engine and complete powertrain
  • Document the developed component modeling library
  • Ensure continuous optimization and validation of models using measurement data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in combustion engines or a related area
  • Strong expertise in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, AMESim & SimulationX, and proficiency in Creo and Concerto
  • Analytical, thorough, and proactive
  • Fluent in French and English; good knowledge of German is an asset
