About the role
- Design, update, and implement life cycle cost (LCC) models for off-highway mining trucks,
- Evaluate and quantify total cost of ownership (TCO), including capital investment, maintenance labor, parts usage, etc.
- Partner with engineering design teams to evaluate design alternatives using life cycle cost as a metric.
- Support engineering design reviews and product development gates by providing life cycle cost performance benchmarks.
- Analyze field data, warranty data, and service histories to identify major life cycle cost drivers.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering, Finance, or related field;
- four years in life cycle costing, reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or cost analysis in a heavy equipment or mining environment;
- ability to obtain and maintain Local Mine induction and access;
- ability to obtain and maintain Local Mine HSE certification;
- ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver’s license.
