About the role

  • Technical lead for projects involving the development of complex aerospace systems
  • Definition and coordination of requirements for the design, sizing and necessary verification of assemblies and systems
  • Coordination of development activities with specialist departments in terms of content and schedule
  • Preparation and harmonization of schedules and cost plans as well as task definitions
  • Internal and external contact (Focal Point of Contact, FPOC) for customers and partners for technical support of complex assemblies and systems
  • Execution and documentation of analyses (e.g. performance, reliability, safety, maintainability)
  • Assessment of technical and quality issues, planning and leading actions to identify problems, developing solution proposals and corrective measures
  • Further development of methods and processes for design and verification
  • Technical supervision of employees

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in the development of complex systems, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Very good German and English language skills
  • Independent and self-reliant working style
  • Leadership qualities and strong execution skills
  • Good knowledge of aviation standards
  • Team player
