About the role
- Planning and coordination of heavy-load lifting operations for our maritime handling equipment
- Preparation of project-specific loading instructions to ensure the safe execution of heavy-load liftings
- Reviewing, checking, and commenting on lifting, stowage, and cargo-securing plans as well as project-related risk assessments
- Designing and optimizing the transport configuration of our maritime products in collaboration with the design department and other specialist teams
- Coordinating the preparation of transport instructions for multimodal transports
- Supervising road and vessel loadings and ensuring compliance with technical and safety-related requirements
- Point of contact for technical and organizational coordination with internal departments and external partners
Requirements
- Degree in a technical or logistics field, ideally with a focus on Maritime Studies
- Alternatively, completed vocational training in logistics, transport, or shipping with several years of relevant professional experience
- Further training or experience in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) desirable
- Excellent German and English skills
- Flexibility to work variable hours
- Strong initiative, independent organization, and a high sense of responsibility
- Willingness to undertake occasional business travel
- Good communication skills and a cooperative working style
