About the role
- Understand the business – assess and support business objectives for digital products and services from the perspective of cloud applications
- Define the architecture – design the structures of distributed systems in close collaboration with other experts
- Implement cloud services – develop end-to-end software modules
- Support deployment – maintain continuous integration and delivery processes
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams – be an enthusiastic agile team member
- Ensure DevOps – you build it, you run it.
Requirements
- M.Sc. in Computer Science and at least 7 years' experience in Go, Java or .NET software development
- Expertise in developing distributed software, cloud mechanisms, tools and providers (Azure, AWS, containers, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Integration and DevOps
- Expertise in storage technologies (SQL databases, NoSQL databases, data lakes, etc.)
- Familiarity with Clean Code practices, peer reviews and pair programming
- Highly motivated and able to collaborate in agile teams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
