About the role
- Analyze the mechanical behavior of equipment
- Contribute to the design of equipment with respect to mechanical aspects
- Oversee subcontracted mechanical calculation activities (including drafting specifications)
- Coordinate specialists’ activities to produce technical analyses
- Coordinate continuous improvement activities related to structural calculations
- Participate in the digitization of the team’s activities to strengthen digital continuity and Model-Based Engineering
- Serve as the mechanical interface with external partners (industrial partners, academia, solution providers, laboratories, etc.)
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on structural analysis
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with finite element analysis software such as Nastran, HyperMesh, Radioss, Altair Suite
- Experience in manufacturing process modeling and fracture/crack propagation analysis is a plus
- Technical English required
