About the role
- Responsibility for verification and approval tests to certify inverters, converters, or energy storage systems in industrial environments
- Planning and execution of verification and approval tests, including independent documentation of results
- Analysis of functional requirements according to applicable standards and guidelines, and development of test strategies for power electronic systems, hardware components, and control components
- Coordination and approval of test reviews and results with the involved stakeholders
- Contributing to technical and customer-oriented product documentation
Requirements
- Degree in engineering (preferably electrical engineering) or equivalent; several years of professional experience desirable
- Good knowledge of EC/EU directives and standards for power electronics and energy storage systems
- Good knowledge of MATLAB and Microsoft Office products
- Solid knowledge of control theory and control engineering
- Structured working style, strong analytical skills, initiative, good communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Very good written and spoken German and English
