About the role

  • Develop software architectures within a complex system environment in conjunction with energy trading ("Energy as a Service").
  • Design and develop data models and implement interfaces to billing and payment systems via mobile networks or Wi‑Fi.
  • Develop innovative automation solutions for energy storage and new industry standards.
  • Develop high‑tech interfaces for intelligent, networked installations.
  • Perform systematic testing and fault analysis.
  • Independently and/or in an agile team, develop innovative software solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Knowledge of fieldbus communication systems (PROFINET, Modbus, CAN, Ethernet‑based fieldbuses).
  • Experience with IoT systems (MQTT, OPC UA, SW‑OTA / software over‑the‑air).
  • PLC programming according to EN 61131‑3; knowledge of C/C++ and HTML is desirable.
  • Systematic fault analysis and testing skills.
  • Willingness to take on demanding tasks and to undertake occasional assignments worldwide (Class B driving license required).
  • Very good German and English language skills and confident use of MS Office.
