About the role

  • Technical leadership of an interdisciplinary team of engineers and technicians in the development and system integration of energy storage systems and power converter systems in plant engineering
  • Responsible for meeting technical quality, cost and schedule targets
  • Responsibility for technical project management as Technical Lead/System Architect from concept development to series production readiness
  • Ensure a methodical and structured approach to product development
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Purchasing, Engineering Services, Supplier Management, Industrial Engineering, Production and Quality Assurance
  • Technical evaluation and selection of components and close coordination with suppliers and external development partners
  • Contribute to the preparation of project and product sketches for proposals

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power/Energy Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in a technical leadership role, ideally in the development of energy storage systems or power electronics applications
  • Preferably experience in the development, design and project planning of frequency converter systems
  • Knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) is an advantage
  • Experience in technical project management
  • Strong methodological skills in product development (e.g., V-model, morphological matrix, Systems Engineering, agile methods)
  • Structured, solution-oriented working style with high quality standards
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness in interdisciplinary teams
  • Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.
