About the role

  • Answer incoming phone calls to take customer orders, look up part references, and inform customers about prices, kit details and the status of their order
  • Enter orders (warranty, on-board stock replenishment, chargeable orders, etc.), select the shipping method and the relevant internal warehouses
  • If necessary, arrange a taxi for delivery
  • Advise customers according to their requests and prepare quotations
  • Regularly liaise with colleagues at the German factory to schedule or manufacture parts and obtain various information (lead times, prices, etc.)
  • Schedule and manage goods returns

Requirements

  • A candidate with a technical background (ideally from the heavy commercial vehicle or agricultural sector) capable of identifying parts and understanding and anticipating customer issues
  • Fluency in English and/or German is essential to enable regular communication with the Spare Parts and Shipping departments at the German production plant
  • A strong team player who can support colleagues and share common files/cases
