About the role
- Administration and support of applications in the PLM/CAD systems environment
- Maintenance and support of applications and interfaces, and handling of change requests
- Assume application ownership, perform feasibility analyses, and manage release and upgrade projects together with internal and external partners
- Assess and implement requirements from the business
- Advise and support business units in the relevant applications
- Plan and perform maintenance activities as well as functional and integration testing
- Prepare documentation
- Align and standardize requirements from different locations and coordinate with the central IT service organization and external service providers
- Ensure a consistent PLM/CAD strategy and harmonization of processes
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a similar qualification
- Ideally, professional experience in application support or IT system administration
- Experience as a CAD/PLM key user with a strong IT affinity is an advantage
- Preferably solid knowledge of systems such as Creo, CATIA or Windchill
- Very good English skills
- Conceptual thinking and strong analytical skills
- Strong results orientation
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications
