About the role

  • Responsible for the daily management of the service organization (10 full-time employees)
  • Conduct market research and business development activities, including analysis of local competitors, pricing levels and customers' economic trends
  • Responsible for expanding the department in terms of customer services and spare parts sales
  • Establish and maintain ongoing relationships with existing customers, suppliers and internal departments
  • Negotiate pricing and conclude service contracts
  • Support technical advisors with complex customer service inquiries
  • Assist the department manager with the organizational development of combined sales and service operations

Requirements

  • Relevant technical or commercial education or equivalent level (HBO)
  • Preferably additional relevant studies and courses in management and leadership
  • Experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Knowledge of contract negotiations, service operations and customer engagement
  • Familiarity with ERP or service management systems (e.g., SMS)
  • Initiative and project ownership (individually and as part of a team)
  • Customer-oriented and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to collaborate functionally and to be flexible in supporting other departments
  • Ability to work flexibly and to travel internationally
  • Confidentiality and professional representation of Liebherr
  • Dutch as a native language and fluency in spoken and written English required; French or German is an advantage
