About the role
- Implementing and further developing translation and terminology processes as well as modern translation technologies
- Working with translation and terminology systems, including CAT tools (e.g., memoQ)
- Building and expanding terminology, structuring termbases, and working in multilingual contexts
- Deploying AI-based solutions and machine translation technologies in the localization environment
- Optimizing workflows, driving process automation, and evolving the language-related tool landscape
Requirements
- University degree, e.g., in Business, Marketing, Media, IT, Linguistics or Communication Studies, or an equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of professional experience in language services, localization and/or terminology work desirable
- Strong understanding of translation and terminology processes and modern translation technologies, and familiarity with TMS/CAT tools (e.g., memoQ), including a basic understanding of translation and review processes
- Experience with AI-based solutions and Machine Translation (MT) as well as process optimization is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken German and English; additional languages for terminology work are advantageous
- Strong communication and coordination skills in an international environment combined with a careful, independent working style, reliability and a sense of responsibility
- Analytical thinking and abstraction ability, solution orientation, commitment, independence and initiative
- Entrepreneurial mindset and goal-oriented approach; strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm
