About the role

  • Develop control software for mixing plants
  • Work on reusable function blocks for efficient plant applications
  • Contribute to the pre-development of concepts for automating core processes
  • Optimize process engineering workflows through customer-focused and agile development
  • Create concepts and specifications for interfaces and functions of software modules
  • Coordinate closely with technical colleagues, application engineering, mechanical and electrical design
  • Integrated into collaboration with international subsidiaries
  • Support commissioning of prototypes or systems in the field

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics or a comparable qualification (e.g., state-certified technician in Automation or Electrical Engineering)
  • Experience developing PLC programs according to IEC 61131, preferably with CODESYS, and Python for mechatronic systems
  • Good knowledge of software development and problem-solving methods, as well as drive and control engineering
  • Knowledge of scripting languages and object-oriented programming
  • Enjoy working on development in cross-functional mechatronic teams
  • Good German and English skills
  • Creativity and a strong team spirit
