About the role

  • Capture, analyze and evaluate new demands from the business units
  • Advise business units as a business partner on IT solutions and processes
  • Develop solution concepts in collaboration with the business units
  • Create and maintain requirements specifications and requirements documentation
  • Proactively identify optimization potentials and opportunities for innovation
  • Represent the domain in corporate working groups and actively contribute ideas for process improvement
  • Manage and support the implementation of demands until handover to IT development or project management
  • Take on (partial) project leadership as required
  • Ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of implemented solutions
  • Coordinate with internal and external IT service providers
  • Monitor compliance with corporate standards and IT governance
  • Support the rollout and adoption of new solutions within the business units
  • Track and document implementation results

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, (Business) Informatics/Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification (m/f/d)
  • Several years of experience in an interface role between IT and the business
  • Experience in demand management and/or as a domain architect
  • Knowledge of creating requirements specifications and requirements management
  • Knowledge of project management (ideally with certification, e.g., IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2)
  • Strong knowledge of modern IT architectures and business processes
  • Experience with requirements management and process modeling tools is desirable
  • German fluent, English advanced
