About the role
- Develop and Strengthen Relationships: Establish and nurture strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Regular Customer Engagement: Conduct regular visits to both new and existing customers, identifying their evolving needs.
- Targeted Product and Service Promotion: Tailor and promote Liebherr products and services to address the specific needs of each customer.
- Proactive Business Development: Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mining sector.
- Customer Feedback Loop: Solicit and analyze feedback from customers to ensure that Liebherr’s standards are met.
- Sales and Marketing Initiatives: Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives designed to enhance customer outreach.
- Accurate Documentation and Proposals: Prepare precise and competitive quotations and sales proposals.
- CRM Utilization for Market Insight: Use Liebherr’s CRM system to track customer interactions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with all other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Adapt to the dynamic needs of the role by undertaking additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience selling heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc).
- Previous sales experience in the mining industry will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to seek out and develop new business opportunities through direct customer engagement.
- Ability to understand customer needs, anticipate concerns, and tailor solutions.
- General understanding of mining industry products, services, and technologies.
- Exceptional Communication; Strong verbal and written communication, with persuasive presentation abilities.
- Experience in using CRM systems to enhance customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to ensure all documentation aligns with company standards and customer expectations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and drive success.
