About the role
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service
- Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual statistics
- Provide documented appraisal of associate’s sales performance
- Give feedback on areas of strength and opportunity
- Adhere to visual guidelines including proper merchandising and store cleanliness
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with dress code policy
- Control expenses by following company guidelines
- Assist in preparation of store schedules for proper coverage
- Follow policies to manage store inventory accurately
- Perform proper documentation and record keeping
- Open and close the store as required
- Participate in training programs and assist in recruiting and training store personnel
- Encourage compliance with company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year relative experience
- Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to operate a computer and maneuver relative software programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work unsupervised
