About the role
- Leading the detailed design and standardization of substation installations and modifications
- Guiding and reviewing the work of less experienced engineers
- Providing mentorship and technical oversight to support their professional development
- Collaborating with entry-level and consulting engineers to coordinate design integrity, material procurement, and timely, integrated project completion
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex substation design issues
- Specifying and evaluating vendor-provided designs and quotations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 7+ years preferred.
- Substation Experience Required
- Professional Engineer (PE) preferred and required for a Senior Engineer level
