About the role

  • Leading the detailed design and standardization of substation installations and modifications
  • Guiding and reviewing the work of less experienced engineers
  • Providing mentorship and technical oversight to support their professional development
  • Collaborating with entry-level and consulting engineers to coordinate design integrity, material procurement, and timely, integrated project completion
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex substation design issues
  • Specifying and evaluating vendor-provided designs and quotations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with 7+ years preferred.
  • Substation Experience Required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred and required for a Senior Engineer level
