About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Teach architectural environmental systems at the graduate level
  • Continue course development toward NAAB accreditation

  • Deliver subject material according to the approved curriculum and assigned schedule

  • Conduct end-of-semester assessments toward NAAB accreditation goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master of Architecture (M. Arch) degree or a terminal degree in Architecture from an NAAB accredited institution
  • Evidence of, or potential for, effective teaching, tested professional expertise, creative/scholarly activity, public communication, and professional collegiality
  • Personal faith commitment to Liberty University’s evangelical Christian mission and purpose, with full adherence to its doctrines
  • Strength or potential in college-level teaching
  • Familiarity with collaborative and online learning techniques and student-centered instruction
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, empathetic, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and public entities
  • Computer skills, including discipline-related technologies and online teaching platforms
  • Ability to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve routine and complex problems
  • May be required to travel for local, campus, state, site visits, or field work
  • Valid driver’s license, acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance required when driving for the position
