About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work virtually with students in 2nd-6th grade for 45-minute sessions, a minimum of twice a week.
Tutor/Mentor a minimum of 3 students.
Focus on building fundamental math and literacy skills using evidence-based online programs.
Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.

Requirements

What you’ll need

No tutoring experience required
Enrolled in a degree-seeking program at Liberty University
Have Federal Work Study eligibility
Have 7 to 20 hours of work availability per week
Must pass various background checks
Individual must not be in default on any federal student or parent loan
Individual must not be convicted of, or pled nolo contendere or guilty to, a crime involving federal, state, or local government funds
