Recruiting Coordinator
Liberty UniversityRecruiting Coordinator responsible for supporting the full recruitment cycle at Liberty University. Engaging in administrative responsibilities, communication, and HR projects within a team.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative assistance to facilitate an effective recruiting cycle that ensures a positive candidate and internal customer experience.
- Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate and hire progress, track and report key metrics and appropriately disposition candidates as needed.
- Maintain all talent acquisition process documents, regularly maintain relevant databases and electronic files, audit records and assist in administering background checks, as needed.
- Maintain interview and screening schedules, communicating with candidates regarding timelines and outcomes.
- Maintain effective communications with candidates and hires through the HR main line and Recruiting email inbox, answering inquiries and escalating complex issues for resolution.
- Attend and assist with various HR and recruitment events including new employee orientation hiring events, career fairs, and recruitment trainings.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with hiring leads, recruiters, and HR team members to address issues and maintain an efficient and effective recruitment process.
- Assist with cross functional HR projects to improve service delivery,
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Work effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s mission.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred
- Human Resources experience preferred
