About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct all instructional activities in accordance with the university standards of instruction
- Teach from the material within the approved curriculum on schedule
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and replies to student correspondence
- Maintain and report student grades and attendance
- Inform HSOG of availably to be assigned courses in each subterm using the schools proscribed methods
- Maintain up-to-date personnel and professional data in the university’s databases
- Conduct self-evaluations as part of the professional evaluation process
- Monitor the HSOG Communication Center and assigned Instructional Mentor’s channel
- Complete FERPA, Title IX, and all other assigned training on time
- Support Subject Matter Experts and Program Directors in curriculum development and conduct assessment activities as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctorate (JD)
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate level
- Appropriate mentoring and interpersonal skills
- Organizational skills that facilitate the completion of assignments and tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems
