Analyze and advise management of workflow issues and data integrity problems and offer recommendations on resolution
Document business processes, research best practices, and support development of solutions for current business operations
Summarize and describe raw University data sets and support validation processes that profile data attributes
Perform analysis aligned to organizational goals and relay business impacts through data-driven recommendations
Operationalize findings and develop tools to automate dashboards, complex models, and analyses
Work closely with business units, provide high degree of customer service, triage escalated issues, and assist with functional business topics
Assist business units in streamlining processes, including form and reporting development, and contribute to internal development and publication standards
Provide operational support to assigned business unit systems, assist with technical issues, take ownership of supported systems, and support training and policy development
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
1-2 years' SQL experience
Experience with Excel, Access, report writing tools (Argos, SSRS, Tableau)
Experience with testing and maintaining core enterprise systems to ensure operational needs and optimize business processes
Effective communication both verbally and in writing
Ability to intuitively reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment to solve routine and complex problems
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Proof of a valid Virginia driver's license, an acceptable DMV record, and liability insurance is required
