About the role
- Adjuncts are essential to Liberty University’s mission of Training Champions for Christ. · Model a personal commitment to Liberty University goals and values and biblical Christian worldview. · Teach, administer, and facilitate online graduate/doctoral counseling classes of approx. 14-25 students. · Daily internet interaction with students pursuing graduate or doctoral degrees in counseling fields. · Perform administrative tasks, interact with students through grading and forums, and build relationships under supervision of Online Instructional Mentors. · Teach material from approved curriculum per schedule. · Assist students in achieving objectives and learning outcomes. · Provide regular and timely feedback to students. · Advise students on academics, attendance, and behaviors. · Motivate student participation. · Maintain and report student grades and attendance per university policies. · Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- · Doctoral degree in counseling or related field. · Professional or clinical counseling experience · Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of their field and application of current counseling practices. · Previous experience with online learning management systems and Microsoft Office. · Knowledge of faith integration and biblical concepts.
