- This role has a hybrid work schedule (2 days onsite) for candidates located within the 50 miles radius of Portsmouth, NH, Boston, MA, Plano, TX, Indianapolis, IN and Columbus, OH office locations.
- We are seeking a hands-on, strategic People Leader to oversee business critical tech initiatives in Global Finance Technology (GFT) including our in-house platforms Payment Hub and PAWS, and other critical modernization efforts for Global Finance and Treasury Operations, as well as contributing to the broader technology strategy for the Treasury engineering portfolio.
- This role will also work partner closely with other teams in GFT, LIFTED, USRM tech, and GRS tech to scale our enterprise platforms as technology and business needs evolve.
- Talent & team leadership : recruit, hire, grow, deploy, and inspire engineers; provide coaching, technical mentorship (especially for junior staff), and build strong team relationships and culture.
- Technical excellence and High-Performance Engineering : partner with tech leadership to set standards, enforce quality, reduce technical debt, and provide hands‑on guidance (system design, code review, troubleshooting).
- Strategy & roadmaps : contribute to business and technology vision, define success metrics, and set operational plans for applications, units, or platforms.
- Prioritization & delivery : align and prioritize work with lifecycle and enterprise initiatives, monitor progress, and adjust plans to ensure outcomes.
- Cross‑functional engagement: collaborate with stakeholders, other teams, and external partners to scale enterprise platforms and align engineering with business objectives.
- Vendor, contract, and financial management: oversee SOWs, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and application/portfolio budgeting (Total Cost of Ownership).
- Innovation & technology adoption: encourage continuous improvement, evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platforms.
- Communication: clearly convey technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences through strong verbal and written communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a practice relevant domain including delivering software solutions in an agile environment.
- Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role is preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within an Agile/Product First Culture, with a focus on engineering and/or technology teams.
- Proven track record in Change Management, including the capacity to effectively manage and communicate changes while fostering a culture of resilience among team members to embrace transformation.
- Strong relationship-building, trust-building, and partnership-building skills.
- A curious mindset with a passion for learning and innovation; comfortable questioning and refining existing processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
- Solid understanding of technology and architecture principles, enabling informed decision-making regarding project prioritization and resource allocation.
- Software Engineering or Configuration experience is a bonus.
- Experience with vendor management, contracts, and SOW development is preferred.
