About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the HR Operations team with day-to-day administrative and employee support activities.
  • Help maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems as needed.
  • Assist with process improvements and ensure HR policies and procedures are followed.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries in a timely, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Help coordinate onboarding activities with teams such as Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, IT, hiring managers, and other business partners.
  • Ensure new hire paperwork, system access, and onboarding tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Share company policies, procedures, and resources with new employees to help them feel supported from day one.
  • Support offboarding activities in partnership with IT, HRBPs, HR Operations, managers, and employees.
  • Ensure offboarding tasks are completed, including access removal, equipment return, and document processing.
  • Help coordinate pre-employment background checks in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment coordination and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with campus recruitment events and engagement activities, including event booking, swag ordering, setup, and marketing materials.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 0–2 years of experience in HR, HR operations, recruiting coordination, or a related administrative role.
  • A college diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work clearly and professionally across teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems.
  • A customer service mindset and a professional, approachable demeanor.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while staying accurate, responsive, and service-focused.
  • Comfort handling confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive, self-starting attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience supporting onboarding and offboarding processes is an asset.
  • Knowledge of background check processes and HR systems is a plus.
