About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process and apply daily payments accurately and timely.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly invoices.
  • Manage collection activities and monitor aging receivables.
  • Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate.
  • Perform premium reconciliations and account balancing activities.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, and account-related matters.
  • Process payments received over the phone.
  • Support financial audits by providing documentation and account analysis.
  • Calculate monthly accounts receivable reserves and document reserve rationale.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, priorititization, and time management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sage 300 accounting software.
