About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Process and apply daily payments accurately and timely.
Prepare and distribute monthly invoices.
Manage collection activities and monitor aging receivables.
Escalate delinquent accounts as appropriate.
Perform premium reconciliations and account balancing activities.
Respond to client inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, and account-related matters.
Process payments received over the phone.
Support financial audits by providing documentation and account analysis.
Calculate monthly accounts receivable reserves and document reserve rationale.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Receivable experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational, priorititization, and time management skills.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Sage 300 accounting software.
