About the role

  • Support for fixed asset inventory.
  • Reconcile fixed asset general ledger accounts. Analyze accounting entries to ensure correct identification and accounting records related to fixed assets.
  • Support daily routines for controlling the Company’s assets, such as: disposals, transfers, depreciation calculation and monitoring of construction-in-progress.
  • Prepare movement schedules/reports and explanatory notes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, and contribute to the implementation of initiatives.
  • Provide business support (handling service tickets, managing process flows involving asset movements, additions and disposals, etc.).

Requirements

  • Availability for weekly factory visits to identify tagged fixed assets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed or in progress).
  • Knowledge of Brazilian accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience in accounting.
  • Experience with SAP.
  • Intermediate Excel.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Experience with the SAP AA (Asset Accounting) module.
  • Experience with data management/analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, etc.).
