About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritise initiatives, and resolve issues across multiple streams.
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into clear, sprint-ready user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Create user stories and walkthrough these with business and technology teams.
- Support Senior Business Analyst and Business Owners in breaking down of Epics into stories and capture of the acceptance criteria.
- Support the Project Managers in planning and implementation of both business and technical components of initiatives.
- You will support the developers and testers through the sprint cycle to achieve sprint goals and deliver value to the stakeholders.
- Support delivery through definition, design, and testing phases ensuring traceability from requirements to test cases and quality outcomes.
- Prepare stakeholder communications, deliver demos and training, and assist with business procedure documentation.
- Identify process improvements and contribute to business case or lean canvas development for future initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years as a Business Analyst or 5+ years in Wealth Management with BA responsibilities
- Strong exposure working with Wealth Advisory/Private Banking platforms
- Avaloq experience is highly desirable
- Experience in process mapping, user story development, and Agile frameworks
- Resilient, methodical, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proficient in JIRA and advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of wealth management products and services are highly desirable
- Knowledge of SDLC and change methodologies are a plus
- Degree qualified.
