About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Travel offsite to customers' locations to perform maintenance and repair of LG's equipment.
Use all safety equipment, vehicles, and diagnostic tools provided by LG properly.
Conduct technical diagnosis and perform specialized repairs on electronics and home appliances.
Diagnose problems, assess their extent, document findings, and decide whether to repair products or replace parts.
Process paperwork and perform data entry immediately and accurately after each job.
Pre-screen next-day service calls by obtaining information to help diagnose problems before arriving at customers' homes.
Meet or exceed company metrics, including customer satisfaction, fix-right-first-time, revisits, parts management, and overtime percentage.
Represent LG professionally while delivering exceptional customer experiences in the home.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 1 year experience in a technical role (Appliance repair preferred).
Experience repairing major appliances (Refrigeration/sealed systems, cooking, cleaning products).
Experience in the use of tools, and diagnostic test equipment.
Ability to properly trouble-shoot, diagnose, repair and document product/system issues.
Valid Driver’s license in good standing.
Ability to obtain appropriate EPA Certification.
Meet physical requirements generally associated with field service repair such as continuous bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
