About the role

  • Manage and coordinate with third-party consultants to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all corporate income tax returns in the U.S., U.K., Brazil, and Australia.
  • Review tax returns for India and ensure alignment with local requirements and group policy.
  • Support documentation and compliance related to tax filings and audits across all jurisdictions.
  • Partner with external consultants to prepare and review the global income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Coordinate and assist with year-end tax reporting requirements and external audit requests.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of U.S. sales and use tax returns; ensure compliance with evolving state and local tax requirements.
  • Monitor and assess tax nexus exposure across states and countries; ensure compliance with applicable registration and filing requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls over tax processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments and assess potential impact on the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in tax, with a strong focus on international and U.S. tax compliance and provision.
  • Experience working with third-party tax providers and managing outsourced tax processes.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP tax provision (ASC 740) and sales tax requirements.
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax filings (U.S., U.K., Brazil, Australia, India) strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with tax software (e.g., Avalara, Vertex, ONESOURCE) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and international tax laws and the ability to handle tax filings and registration issues for multiple countries.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency in managing tax across different countries, with experience in regions such as the U.S., UK, Australia, and Canada.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
