About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead architectural design ensuring scalability, maintainability, reliability, and open-standard compliance
Write, test, and maintain clean, efficient, secure source code in a Government-owned GIT repository
Conduct and participate in mandatory peer code reviews
Ensure all code passes automated quality and security scans
Remediate all new Blocker, Critical, or High findings prior to task completion
Identify, report, analyze, and execute technical debt remediation as prioritized by Government
Research and prototype emergent technologies, including AI/ML, low-code/no-code, and AI-assisted coding tools
Mentor team members in emergent technologies
Maintain minimum 90% automated test coverage of all new code
Ensure an overall code quality rating of 'A' in SonarQube
Ensure 90% of individual methods are documented inline in tool-compatible format
