About the role
- Design and build robust, scalable backend systems to power our AI algorithms and applications.
- Collaborate with the web crawling and AI team to develop indexing pipelines and guide data acquisition strategies.
- Craft scalable and efficient data structures to organize vast volumes of legal data.
- Rapidly prototype and develop software to improve, automate, or accelerate internal processes.
- Follow best practices, coding standards, and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Python is essential.
- 3+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with full-text search, vector databases, or similar scalable search systems.
- A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies in the rapidly evolving field of NLP and ML.
- Knowledge of ML and AI is not required but is preferred.
