About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the ongoing development and maintenance of Practical Guidance content for the Criminal Law practice area
  • Design, own, and execute content upkeep processes, workflows, reviews, updates, and publication
  • Monitor current awareness sources, legal developments, legislation, regulations, agency guidance, and court decisions
  • Assess the impact of legal developments on existing Practical Guidance content
  • Conduct legal research and editorial work for content updates
  • Draft, revise, and edit Practical Guidance content according to editorial standards
  • Maintain legal development trackers and other customer-facing resources
  • Oversee and execute content remediation projects addressing quality, usability, navigation, organization, currency, and consistency
  • Incorporate AI and emerging technologies into editorial workflows and validate legal accuracy
  • Partner with LNNAUK, GPO, and GTO teams on content strategy, workflow improvements, product enhancements, and customer-focused initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Juris Doctor degree required
  • At least two years of recent practice experience in commercial law
  • Practice experience preferably in advertising and marketing, supply of goods and services (UCC), and/or commercial litigation
  • Ability to monitor and interpret legal and regulatory developments within a specific practice area
  • Experience conducting legal research and applying findings to practical, user-focused content updates
  • Strong writing and editing skills focused on clarity, accuracy, and usability
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple workflows aligned to business goals and deadlines
  • Experience improving content quality, organization, and customer experience
  • Familiarity with or interest in applying AI and emerging technologies in editorial processes
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high editorial and legal standards
