About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review, update, and revise assigned content based on scheduled and triggered review cycles, customer needs and requests, and current health care events such as guideline updates under the guidance of a Clinical Editor
  • Ensure content is accurate, evidence-based, and adheres to current clinical practice guidelines and standards
  • Support editing and updating assigned content based on scheduled review cycles
  • Manage assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained
  • Engage with internal teams to support content needs and respond to basic clinical inquiries from Customer Success and Service under the guidance of a Clinical Editor
  • Support the JIRA ticket process
  • Participate in team meetings
  • Monitor updates from related professional organizations and governing bodies regarding nursing practice
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Patient Engagement leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher
  • At least 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience
  • Experience authoring or writing content strongly preferred
  • Experience with healthcare-related quality, practice, and regulatory requirements strongly preferred
  • Experience developing education materials strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of learner-centered or adult-learning principles
  • Working knowledge of health literacy and plain language principles
  • Strong research skills and ability to stay current with nursing and healthcare developments
  • Strong writing skills with clear, concise style and excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to identify and assess evidence, determine the highest-quality evidence, and analyze, synthesize, and apply it when authoring, reviewing, and updating content
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be willing to use generative AI to enhance work and improve efficiency
  • Able to work independently from home during standard daytime hours, roughly 9am to 5pm ET
