About the role
- Support the planning and execution of user research studies.
- Help prepare research materials, including surveys and discussion guides.
- Assist with qualitative and quantitative data analysis with guidance from a mentor.
- Summarize research findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Work with cross‑functional partners to understand research needs and product goals.
- Participate in research presentations and team knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Gradually take ownership of research tasks as skills and confidence grow.
- Lead a research study or capstone project toward the end of the internship.
Requirements
- Be a currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Psychology, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Design, Anthropology, or a related field of study.
- Demonstrate experience with user research methods such as usability testing, interviews, or surveys through coursework, projects, or other internships.
- Experience with survey or research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, or similar) is a plus but not required.
- Showcase an interest in understanding how research supports real-world product development and demonstrate curiosity about generative AI tools and their role in improving user experience and driving product innovation.
- Possess an interest in understanding user experiences and improving how people interact with digital tools.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills to document findings and share ideas clearly.
- Exhibit solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with an openness to learning new tools and methods.
- Be results-oriented and detail-oriented, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives while effectively managing multiple concurrent projects and adapting quickly to changes.
