Contribute to and review detailed specifications for moderately complex system components.
Implement and resolve simple bug fixes.
Collaborate with development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into effective software designs.
Work within various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and engage with key stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

1+ years of Software Engineering experience
BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Proficiency in data manipulation languages (e.g., SQL).
Experience working with simple data models and data storage subsystems.
Strong programming skills in one or more of the following: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, .NET, Windows, and UNIX environments.
Familiarity with industry best practices, including code coverage and test-driven development.
Ability to create automated tests using test frameworks.
Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies and processes.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
