About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide consultative services to legal customers and prospects to maximize use and understanding of LexisNexis products
  • Communicate with clients to understand challenges and provide guidance, education, and consultation
  • Deliver specialized customer presentations and communicate value propositions and competitor differentiators
  • Retain and grow revenue within assigned Government Agency accounts
  • Build solid relationships within customer accounts
  • Collaborate with sales partners on preference, driving strategy, and strategic account plans
  • Identify and share leads and opportunities with sales partners and Product Specialists
  • Conduct competitor research and share findings with Product, Segment, and Marketing
  • Gather customer feature and function intelligence for future development and roadmaps
  • Utilize required processes, tools, and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ability to travel 5–7 days per month
  • Ability to come into the office 1–2 days per week if based in DC
  • Military background or experience working with government agencies
  • Ability to build solid internal and external relationships
  • Ability to partner and collaborate across teams
  • Legal research experience or expertise
  • Excellent experience practicing law
  • Proven sales or training experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Juris Doctorate
  • Active Bar License
