About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Maintain and improve a multi-cloud infrastructure that supports the company’s accessibility solutions.
  • Implement and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure on AWS, with an awareness of cost optimization best practices.
  • Support Kubernetes clusters, including deploying applications and managing configurations.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using best practices to improve reliability and speed of software delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure deployment and architectural best practices.
  • Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools like Datadog and CloudWatch to ensure system reliability.
  • Apply GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD for deployment automation.
  • Contribute to infrastructure and process documentation for consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Assist with compliance efforts including security and frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
  • Participate in incident response and on-call rotations as required.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or related roles.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
  • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency with Git-based workflows and GitOps tools (ArgoCD or FluxCD).
  • Experience configuring and deploying Helm Charts.
  • Skilled in Bash scripting; familiarity with Python and AWS Lambda is a plus.
  • Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
