About the role
- Support timely month-end close procedures by preparing and posting general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Maintain month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Assist with tax preparation and filings as well as applicable audits
- Generate and send out invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries
- Maintain and update billing records and client accounts
- Prepare and present regular billing reports to management
- Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures
- Provide support to the sales department and customers with respect to the completion of required customer forms, requests for information, etc.
Requirements
- 3+ years of General Ledger experience with customer billing experience
- Ability to handle high volume of customer invoices
- Preferred knowledgeable on NetSuite (ERP)
- BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field of study
- Highly proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables and X-lookups
- Comfortable working independently and owning your work from start to finish
- Highly organized, accurate and has strong attention to detail
- Fast learner who is self-motivated and makes well-informed decisions
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and internal teams
