About the role
- Development of all server-side logic
- Definition and maintenance of the database
- Ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests
- Creation and maintenance of software products across multiple verticals
- Help build advanced products for clients as well as for internal teams
- Designing user flows and converting them into logical entities in the code
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
- Designing Database schemas
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementation of security and data protection
Requirements
- 3+ Years of experience in Backend Development
- BTech, BE, BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
- Knowledge of Javascript (NodeJS)
- Knowledge of Express
- Knowledge of MongoDB
- Knowledge of Python would be a plus
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Understanding of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Understanding the differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop
- Experience of implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests (with Mocha + Chai)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
