About the role
- Responsible for sales and support activities that improve Phileo's market development and sales activity in North America
- Work closely with Phileo's Technical Services in a team selling format, frequently coordinating and developing sales opportunities with the Monogastric Sales Team
- Leverage current knowledge and expertise of the North American poultry market segments to develop an understanding of the best application of Phileo's commercial products
- Develop a close, collaborative working relationship with Phileo’s Technical Services Manager-Poultry and the Phileo North America Monogastric Sales Manager
- Maintain ongoing market intelligence about the North American poultry marketplace to help identify new sales opportunities and commercial product applications
- Utilize Salesforce for customer engagement documentation
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) preferably in Animal Science with an emphasis on poultry nutrition from an accredited university is required
- 5 or more years of experience in poultry nutrition and feed manufacturing sales are required
- Strong professional interest in poultry feeding and poultry production/nutrition knowledge is required
- Demonstrated aptitude and proficiency in commercial poultry nutrition, production methods, and value-added product application
- Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- Ability to travel 70% of the time within Canada and the United States for team meetings, trade shows, and face to face sales meetings
