About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development of Procurement Sustainability environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Identify emerging ESG themes relevant to the function.
- Support the data preparation and analysis of ESG initiatives across the Procurement lifecycle.
- Support the Governance team in providing data and analysis of key processes covering the Procurement lifecycle.
- Maintain the external Manufacturing Process Capability Tool with updated supplier data.
- Support the provision of ESG data and reports.
- In partnership with Procurement Managers maintain supply chain risk registers.
- Support Commercial in responding to Customer requests around Sustainability.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good understanding of ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles and how they apply within supply chains
- Familiarity with frameworks such as scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, ethical sourcing and SBTi (Science Based Targets)
- Ability to collect, analyze and interpret sustainability data
- Experience using such tools as Excel, Power BI or similar for reporting and dashboard creation
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding, due diligence and sustainability assessments
- Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally
- Ability to present insights and recommendations clearly to support decision making
- Contribute to training, awareness, and capability development within Procurement teams
