About the role
- Support the design, development, and testing of electronic systems
- Contribute to the design, development, modification, and analysis of complex electronic systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing products or systems
- Compile and evaluate design and test data to support engineering decisions
- Design, develop, analyze, document, and support testing of products, systems, and subsystems
- Utilize computer-aided engineering and analysis software for technical assignments
- Interpret and incorporate customer specifications into designs
- Provide input on budget, cost, and scheduling for design-related tasks
- Identify, specify, and evaluate supplier components for integration into system designs
- Ensure adherence to design-to-cost and design-for-manufacturability
- Develop and test prototypes to mitigate technical risks
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers
- Support development of technical content for proposals and customer deliverables
- Participate in relevant engineering, customer, and business meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience
- Familiarity with electronic system design, analysis, and troubleshooting
- Experience using industry-standard tools (e.g, SPICE, MATLAB, Altium, or similar)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and technical documentation
- Internship or project-based experience in hardware or power electronics (preferred)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active DOD security clearance or ability to obtain within a reasonable time after employment
