About the role

  • Overseeing the daily execution of assigned tasks and projects within a moderately large or complex program
  • Ensuring all activities are completed in alignment with contractual obligations, policies, procedures, and standards
  • Managing operations to ensure schedules and quality standards are met
  • Organizing project and task workloads and selecting qualified individuals for specific projects
  • Contributing to the client relationship
  • Working closely with Engineering to manage a development program or project
  • Participating as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities
  • Ensuring compliance with requirements in preparing and documenting bids and proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business related field
  • 7+ years functional or program management experience and a minimum of 3 years leadership experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Experience leading projects from initiation through closure
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc)
  • Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira)
  • Program Management certification preferred (i.e. PMP or DAU)
  • U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain DOD security clearance
