About the role
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced Electrical Engineers in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line of business
- Support the design, simulation, integration, and verification of various FPGA circuits
- Involved in supporting the maintenance and regression testing of FPGA IP libraries
- Review and simulate MATLAB video-processing algorithms
- Sit in on peer reviews for complex FPGA designs
- May include some basic timing analysis and IO constraint design within FPGA tools
- May include the design, development, modification and analysis of various electronics systems
- Support engineering with routine engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks
- Work independently on daily tasks
- Assist in the creation of documentation for FPGA IP and chip-level designs
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission values and culture of the organization
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate or Master's Program in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Have completed at least 2 years of college with a 3.0 GPA or better
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity
- Work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks
- U.S. Citizenship required
- This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
