About the role
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced Software Engineers in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line of business
- engage in projects from start to finish, with plenty of opportunities for exploration and growth
- conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of software engineers
- provide regular reporting of progress and status
- gather and assemble data
- conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of software engineers
- support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Intern must be ranked as Junior or Senior in the academic standing
- Intern must be enrolled in the Electrical Engineering or Computer Science department
- Taken formal data structure class
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university and maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
- U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
