About the role
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced Engineers
- Engage in projects from start to finish
- Conduct board level testing and troubleshooting
- Assist with Printed Circuit Board design (schematic/layout)
- Help with parts procurement/alternate parts search
- Work closely with and assist engineers in various engineering assignments
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers
- Complete assigned tasks on time
- Gather and assemble data for engineers
- Help in research in a particular field
- Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers
- Assist engineers with appropriate design details
- Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an accredited university in an engineering program and maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Pursuing undergraduate, Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
- Good interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Good communicator with data analysis, documentation, and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and self-driven with ability to prioritize tasks and to work both in a team and independently
- U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
- U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
