About the role

  • Collaborate with and learn from experienced Employees in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line of business
  • Collect data and reviews documentation for conformance, accuracy, and completeness
  • Coordinate and Support quality engineering activities for multiple programs under the supervision of engineers
  • Support incoming inspection of purchased materials
  • Gather and assemble data for engineers
  • Conduct data analysis to assist the Quality Engineering team
  • Perform and complete technical projects
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • actively enrolled in a 4 year undergraduate degree in engineering or a technical discipline (STEM)
  • completed at least 2 years of college with a 3.0 GPA or better
  • ability to work well both as part of a team or as an individual
  • proficient with Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • previous internship or co-op experience and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
  • U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
