About the role
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced Employees in our Electro-Optical & Infrared Systems line of business.
- Participate in projects related to semiconductor device fabrication and device and materials characterization.
- Work directly with an engineer or scientist to learn new process, device, or materials characterization equipment.
- Execute experiments, studies, or tests to characterize or improve our product.
- Take careful technical notes, details, and data to improve results analysis.
- Prepare routine reports with guidance.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials.
- Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in a 4-years undergraduate Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Physics degree.
- Have completed at least 2 years of college and be at least a Junior or Senior at time of application with a 3.0 GPA or better.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems using your natural curiosity.
- Work effectively as a member of a team or on individual tasks.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
